Flexibility Training with Hollis Marsh

Back, Shoulders, & Chest
Stretching and being flexible increases bone density, strengthens muscles, and increases your range of motion in everyday life. These classes are designed to relieve pain in the back, shoulders, and chest, improve your posture, and will lead you to a more mobile and pain free existence. This class is also designed to significantly increase flexibility in these areas for better flow in your pole tricks and to execute your tricks more beautifully. While increasing your flexibility, you also decrease your risk of injury. We will do a variety of shoulder openers, back bends, and chest openers in these classes. We will be using several apparatuses to get the flexibility we desire, including chairs, poles, and each other. For those super bendy girls wanting to go to the next level, you will be pushed more towards contortion. You will notice soon after taking this class a significant increase in flexibility in your lumbar, thoracic, and cervical spine.

Splits and Hips
Stretching and being flexible increases bone density, strengthens muscles, and increases your range of motion in everyday life. If you’ve ever desired to get the perfect split, this class is for you. We will perform a variety of hip openers to get you to the split you’ve always wanted. We will do stretches on the pole, and with partners in this hour class. Bring a friend, or make a friend in class to stretch with. Partner stretching can get you farther than you ever thought possible. These classes will help you create beautiful lines in your pole tricks as well as help you execute certain tricks you previously couldn’t.
